Vegan, Vegetarian, or Omnivorous meals are available for as little as:
• $2.48 for lunch
• $2.93 for dinner
Definition of a Boarder:
• A boarder is a person who eats at the co-ops but does not live on the premises.
• A boarder is eligible to become a boarder during any of SCA's resident terms; since there is no provisions for food service during the interim breaks, there is no boarding during those breaks.
• A "full" boarder is one who eats more than 10 meals a week in the co-ops; a "partial" boarder is one who eats 10 or less.
Boarding Meal Costs shall be determined by the Financial Committee in conjunction with the budgeting process each Winter Term, and the Current Boarding Rates are as follows (as of Summer 2000):
• Lunch Only, $2.48 per meal
• Dinner Only, $2.93 per meal
• Full Daily Meals, $5.41 per day
• All boarders are required to do 1/4 job points, regardless of number of meals eaten.
• It is the boarders' responsibility to meet with the house job coordinator on the first day of boarding to be assigned house jobs for the term.
• Boarders are required to follow all SCA policies and rules as required of resident members.
• All boarders may ask for late plates to be set aside for them when they will be late for meals for which they have contracted and paid.
• Full boarders may pack their own lunches for which they have contracted and paid with co-op food to take outside of the co-op.
• Any boarder who signs a full-term boarding contract may participate in all meetings and run for office.
• Any boarder is eligible for meal refunds on the same basis as resident members.

• Only 2 hours of work a week is required (cook a dinner, do a dish shift, make granola, you decide!)
• A Boarder-applicant must complete the downloadable one-page Boarder Application, and submit his/her boarder deposit of $60.00 prior to boarding.
• When completing a Boarder Application, the boarder-applicant must determine the number of weekly meals desired, and pay all boarding fees agreed to in the contract in advance.
• There is a with a two-week minimum requirement for all boarding contracts.
