BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Beilei Cai received her B.A. in 2002 from Changchun University, and her M.A. in Economics in 2005 from University of Oregon. She is now a PhD candidate in the department of Economics in University of Oregon.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Cai intends to specialize in applied microeconomics with applications to public economics, health economics and environmental economics, economic development and Chinese economy.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Cai has independently taught Public Economics (EC 340) in summer 2007.She also serves as a lab instructor for Introductory Econometrics I (EC 420) and Introductory Econometrics II (EC 421) and a teaching assistant for a variety of classes. In the future, she looks forward to teaching more course at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
