BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Cordon Newhart
received his B.S. in Mathematics in 2004 from
University of Oregon
and expects to receive his Master's in Economics from the University of Oregon in 2008.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Newhart intends to specialize in applied microeconomics and econometrics with
applications to international trade and industrial organization.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Newhart has served as a teaching
assistant for Principles of Microeconomics(Fall 06,Spring 07) and Principles of Macroeconomics(Winter 07). Responsibilities included grading of homework
sets and examinations, as well as teaching discussion sections. In addition he served as a teaching assistant for international economics(Fall 06) where his primary duty was grading.
