Substance Abuse Services

We provide consultation, individual counseling, group counseling, and referrals to more intense treatment programs for substance abuse concerns. Generally we do not provide court ordered assessments, but we work closely with the Housing Department and Dean of Students Conduct Office for initial mandated evaluations.

Stop by the Counseling Center to learn about drop in hours for consultation and further resources.

Available Groups

The New Directions Group is designed to explore addictive behaviors, raise awareness, and provide skills to change behavior patterns that do not work for you. In order to participate in this group, the student needs to come in for an initial screening during drop in hours to determine appropriate fit for the group.
