This disc features the German Romantic composer Robert Fuchs (1847-1927),
and includes the delightful Trio for Violin, viola and piano, Op. 115 a
much neglected masterpiece as performed by Fritz Gearhart, violin, Jonathan
Bagg, viola and Jane Hawkins, piano. Two works for viola and piano round
out the disc: the Phantasiestücke for viola and piano, Op. 117, and
the Sonate for viola and piano, Op. 86.
