the last three years, we have developed and tested a
green organic chemsitry lab course that parallels our
traditional organic lab sequence. Goals:
- Use green chemistry to reduce our
reliance on fume-hoods - design experiments that
can be safely carried out on the benchtop.
- Maintain strong emphasis on
developing core organic laboratory skills.
