WRITING & MATH CLASSES

OMAS' ongoing collaboration with the Department of Mathematics and the expository writing program in the Department of English allows students to benefit from the small classroom environment, rich in diversity, and taught by experienced senior instructors. Pre-authorization at the Office of Multicultural Academic Support is required and priority is given to OMAS program/OMAS partnership students. Selected courses include College Composition I, II (WR 121,122), Intermediate Algebra (MATH 95), College Algebra (MATH 111), Calculus for Business and Social Science I, II (MATH 241, 242), and Introduction to Methods of Probability and Statistics (MATH 243).

All students meeting pre-requisites are welcome to be pre-authorized for OMAS classes after the initial registration period.
