| Michael received his Bachelor and Master's degrees in mathematics from the UO. He has enjoyed math his entire life, and continues to study. He has taught at Lane Community College and at the University as a graduate student. In addition to mathematics, he enjoys karate and taekwondo, badminton, reading for pleasure, and new languages. During the summer of 1996, he lived in Costa Rica with a family in a suburb of the nation's capital. |
