Map and Compass Outing

The map and compass course is situated in Buford Park (a Lane County park). It is an "island" of relatively natural land quite close town. The course at Mt. Pisgah is an excellent resource, intentionally designed to provide a challenging learning experience that is at least as difficult (in terms of the accuracy required for success) as off-trail travel in the wilderness. The following links provide important information about the outing experience.
