BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Thomas Groll received his Vordiplom in Economics in 2005 from the University of Konstanz, Germany. Prior to entering the Ph.D. Program at the UO, Thomas was an exchange student at the UO during the academic year 2005/06 and experienced different internships at institutions of the federal government of Germany.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Thomas intends to specialize in economic origins of institutions, Political Economy, and Development Economics.

Abstract


TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Thomas has served as a teaching assistant for EC 340 Public Economics in Summer 2006. Responsibilities have included grading of examinations and office hours.

OTHER INTERESTS

Thomas is a native speaker in German. He enjoys literature, indie music and theater. His favorite sport is soccer - active and as a supporter.  Personal web page
