BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Timothy Oltman received his B.S. in Economics and minors in Computer Science and Mathematics in 2004 from University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Oltman intends to specialize in the fields of labor economics and industrial organization. He is particularly interested in advertising and its effects on firm and consumer behavior. He is also interested in the political economy of government policies such as the minimum wage and trade protection.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Oltman has lead discussion sections in Principals of Microeconomics (EC 201), and served as a teaching assistant for Intermediate Microeconomics (EC 311) and International Finance (EC 480/580).
