On Friday, 25 August 2006, TK McDonald, the Office Manager for the University of Oregon Department of Philosophy, was crowned Eugene S.L.U.G. Queen 2006. (S.L.U.G. stands for "The Society for the Legitimization of the Ubiquitous Gastropod;" for information about the last twenty or so S.L.U.G. Queens, see http://www.greensiren.com/SLUG/Queens.html).

In the picture below, TK is wearing a scaled-down version of the outfit worn for the S.L.U.G. Queen Competition & Coronation. This picture was taken Saturday afternoon (26 August 2006) in the photo section of the UO Bookstore by Jonathan, an employee of the photo section of the UO Bookstore, 895 East 13th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97403.
