Hendricks Hall
When Hendricks Hall was built in 1917, only women were allowed inside. Currently, Hendricks Hall teems with coed student foot traffic. It's home to the Career Center; Department of Planning, Public Policy and Management; Women's and Gender Studies Program; Center for the Study of Women in Society; and Institute for a Sustainable Environment. The building is named after Thomas Hendricks, a benefactor and founder of the University of Oregon. Since 1992, it has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
