UO English professor Ben Saunders can guide students to socially relevant insights whether studying a Shakespeare play or a Superman comic book.
This fall, Saunders is guest curating Faster than a Speeding Bullet: the Art of the Superhero at the UO’s Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art.
The exhibit highlights the work of the many human beings whose tireless efforts created the immortal superheroes of the comic-book world. In the ninety-second video below, Saunders discusses the cultural importance of the art form.
