Hayward Field - Duck Relay
Sixty-seven UO track-and-field athletes have competed in the
Olympics. Ten of the competitors have won twelve medals, including
four gold medals. |
A Meeting in the Sun
Eleven UO graduates currently serve in the Oregon Legislative
Assembly, and Peter DeFazio M.A. '77 and Ron Wyden J.D. '74
serve in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate,
respectively. |

CAUSE, an association for managing and using information resources
in higher education, gave the UO its 1996 Award of Excellence

Visual-design students in the Department of Fine and Applied
Arts placed first in the Student Poster and Animation Competition
