Assault Prevention Shuttle (APS)

MISSION STATEMENT
The Assault Prevention Shuttle is devoted to the idea that a person regardless of sex, race, religion or sexual preference, should be able to go where they wish at night and feel comfortable and safe. Providing over 9,000 rides a year, APS is a free shuttle service that provides university students , faculty and staff with an alternative to walking alone at night, relying on others to take them home or being stuck in a potentially dangerous situation.
Available Weeknights 6pm-12am & Weekends 6pm-2am

To use APS:

1. Call 346-RIDE ext. 2 or AOL Instant Message us at: APShuttle

2. Leave your name, your phone number if you have it, where you want to be picked up and where you want to go your student ID # and what time you would like your ride. You can call back after six to confirm your ride if you like, but you don't have to confirm. Our service is heavily used, so we are not always able to be exactly on time. We will call you if we are going to be late.

3. Please have your student ID with you and present it to the drivers so that we can ensure that it is students at UO who are benefiting from the service.

MAP:
The Assault Prevention Shuttle covers an area of about 3 miles around the UO. Our main pick up and drop off points are the Kinsrow area, West Moreland and central Eugene. Our borders are: North to CalYoung, East to Augusta, South to 40th, and West to City View. If you live outside of these boundaries, you can talk to one of our Co-directors during their office hours and we can make an exception to the rule.
