Welcome! The Associated Students for Historic Preservation was founded in 1988 by University of Oregon historic preservation students. ASHP's purpose is to advance knowledge and understanding among students, professionals, and educators throughout the nation. Members of ASHP are responsible for publishing ASHP Journal, a nationally distributed newsletter. Other activities include organizing Historic Preservation Week, arranging special lectures and events, and sponsoring field trips to cultural sites.
