	Evening Social and Ideas Gathering Tuesday, September 26th, 6:00-8:00 p.m. LambCottage (Skinner Butte Park) Come join us for an opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow colleagues. This will also be an opportunity to discuss ideas for future meetings. We would like to do a light potluck so please bring your favorite finger-foods, treats, etc. We will be providing drinks, sodas, water, etc.... (Sorry, no alcohol is allowed at Lamb Cottage so we can’t provide that). Come enjoy one of the first evenings of Autumn!

	Thursday October 19th, 2006 - "Getting Serious about Play" Oregon Electric Station from 12:00 to 1:30pm. " Getting Serious about Play” by Helle Burlingame, M.A. Psychology, Child Development Specialist and Director of the Kompan Play Institute. This presentation will outline principles for developing successful play areas for kids of various age groups with a special focus on obesity, providing challenges, meeting kids’ needs, and providing a safe environment. This presentation will be at the Oregon Electric Station from 12:00 to 1:30pm. Continuing education credits are available for this presentation.
