Following new tradition, the first University Assembly meeting of the year
will be combined with Convocation. It will be held at 1430 on Friday 24
October 2003 in Beall Concert Hall. Academic regalia is requested but not
required. Agenda items include welcoming addresses from university and
state leaders, the president's state of the university address, faculty
memorial recognitions, and introduction of new tenure-related faculty members.
