Charge:The Institutional Biosafety Committee is charged with the
delegated primary responsibility for the safe use of biohazardous agents
in accordance with NIH Guidelines for Research Involving rDNA Molecules
and Select Agents as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Compliance shall be reviewed for all aspects of the University operation
including, but not limited to instructional, research, and support functions.
This body will serve as the administrative body to review all uses of these
materials.
