ANNOUNCEMENTS
Certification of spring and summer graduates: Ms. Charlene Heimbigner presented the following motion: "That the faculty of the University of Oregon recommend that the Oregon State Board of Higher Education confer upon the persons whose names are included in the Official Degree List, as compiled and certified by the University Registrar after the June 8, 1980 and the August 9, 1980, Graduation Convocations, the degrees for which they have completed all requirements.''
The motion was seconded, put to a vote and adopted.
Faculty election results: Vice President Olum presented the results of the first ballot of the Spring election. Elected to the Advisory Council was Mr. Ivan Niven. On the second ballot the following names will appear: Maradel Gale, Esther Jacobson-Leong, Stanley Pierson, John Reynolds, Nathaniel Teich, Sanford Tegfer. Elected to the Faculty Personnel Co-mmittee was Donald Tull. On the second ballot the following names will appear: Peter Bergquist, Joseph Hynes, Beth Maveety, John Shepherd, Ronald Sherriffs, William Stange.
June Assembly meeting: Vice President Olum announced that the June meeting of the Assembly will be in room 123 Science.
