Regular Meeting of the Faculty University of Oregon October 3, 1979

The meeting was called to order by Vice President Paul OlUm at 1534 on October 3, 1979 in Room 123 Geology. Vice President Olum stated that President Boyd was out of town and wished the chairman to express regrets that he could not attend today's meeting.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Mr. Paul Holbo, Chairman of the Faculty Advisory Committee, made the following announcements:

On October 10, Wednesday, 3:30 p.m., ForUm Room, EMU, the Advisory council will hold a discussion on "The Proposal for Creating a School of MUS jC and the Performing Arts." He invited all facUlty and their friends to be present. On October 24, Wednesday, 3:30 p.m., 167 EMU, there will be a meeting of the Advisory Council to discuss "Uniform Breadth Requirements (Hours) for all Undergraduates. He again invited all interested persons to be present.
