Assembly minutes for 1991/2

• Assembly Meeting 2 October 1991 A memorial was presented for J. Professor David Rowe. President Brand delivered a State of the University address.
• Assembly Meeting 6 November 1991 A memorial was presented for Professor Jan Broekhoff. The report of the 1990/1 FPC was presented. The budget cuts were discussed. The Strategic plan was discussed.
• Assembly Meeting 4 December 1991 Memorials were presented for Professor Paul Kleinsorge and Professor Marshall Wattles. A discussion on the vision for the future and the strategic plan was held.
• Assembly Meeting 8 January 1992 Measure 5 was discussed. A Memorial was presented for Professors Bittner The report of the Committee on the Curriculum was discussed.
• There were no assembly meetings February, March, or April in 1992
• Special Assembly meeting 1 May 1992. This meeting presented information on the budget cuts required for the 1993-5 biennium.
• Assembly Meeting 6 May 1992 Memorials were presented for Professors Marlene Thal, Waldo McNeir, and Fred Attneave III. The motion to change the general education requirements was discussed.

A summary of legislation passed by the Senate during 1991/2 was presented. Thes dealt with dead-week, ROTC, the graduate council, representation to the senate, the IAC, granting of Posthumous degrees, student evaluations, the race-geneder-non-european american requirement,

• Assembly meeting 14 October 1992 A memorial was presented for Professor Kenneth Scott Wood. The annual report of the FPC was presented. The starting time of the assembly was changed. President Brand presented the state of the University.
• There was no meeting November 1992
• Assembly meeting 2 December 1992 A memorial was presented for Mr. Harrison Howard. A motion was presented by the Academic Requirements Committee. President Brand presented the stat of the University.
• Assembly meeting 6 January 1993 A memorial was presented for Professor Theodore Stern. The report of the Committee on the Curriculum was presented. Transfer credit was discussed.
• Assembly meeting 3 February 1993 A motion by the academic standards was made. The state of the University address was given.

• Assembly meeting 7 April 1993 A memorial was presented for J. Orville Lindstrom and Professor Oscar Fredrick. A motion was discussed on the Race, Gender, and non-European requirement.

• Assembly meeting 5 October 1994 Memorials for Guy Shellenbarger, Galen Rarick, and Robert Moore Trotter were presented. New faculty members and administrators were introduced. The annual report of the FPC was given. The State of the University Address by President Frohnmayer was given.
• Assembly meeting 1 February 1995 The State of the University Address by President Frohnmayer was given. Report of the Committee on the Curriculum was given. A motion by the Academic Requirements Committee was given.
• Assembly meeting 3 and 17 May 1995 Memorials were presented for Professors Sherwood and Lindholm. The motion to approve degrees was presented. Faculty governance was discussed.

• Assembly meeting 27 September 1995 A memorial was presented for Mr. H. Harrison Clarke. New faculty were introduced. The annual report of the FAC and FPC were presented. President Frohnmayer adressed the faculty.
• Assembly meeting 10 January 1996 A memorial was read for Professors Findley, Lang, Winter, Schreiner, and Mace. President Frohnmayer adressed the assembly.
• Assembly meeting 5 June 1996 A memorial was read for Professors Rousseve, Hulteng, Alef, Hopkins, Belknap, and Wood. A motion concerning degrees was read. Paul Simonds read a statement concerning the new statement. President Frohnmayer discussed the state of the University.
