BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Annie Voy received her B.S. in Economics and Business Administration in 2001 from Saint Mary's College of California and received her Master's in Economics from Tufts University 2002. Prior to entering the Ph.D. Program at UO, Annie was employed as a senior analyst with MuniFinancial in Sacramento, California.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Annie intends to specialize in applied microeconomics and econometrics with application to international trade, labor and development. Current research focuses on the relationship between international trade and child labor. Annie has wider interests in game theory and industrial organization.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Annie has independently taught Intermediate Microeconomics twice and Introduction to Econometrics II three times. She also taught Principles of Microeconomics at Northwest Christian University during Fall 2007. In addition, she has served as a teaching assistant for Principles of Micro and Macroeconomics courses and graduate econometric labs. Responsibilities have included grading of homework sets and examinations, as well as teaching discussion sections and review sessions.
