The 1925 Plymetl clothes vault

The Haskelite Manufacturing Corporation provided a more extreme solution to the moth problem with its "Plymetl Air-tite Clothes Vault." This steel-clad container could be installed in place of a closet, promising to protect clothing—furs in particular—from insect and fire damage as well as theft.
