Storage Walls

Specific compartments

House Beautiful. 93:2(February, 1951): 95.

Storage walls often made the most of their capacity by including specialized compartments for specific types of goods. Shelves and drawers for folded clothing, shoes and hats added to the efficiency of hanging compartments. As with conventional closets, high shelves held seldom-used items.
