The 1925 Globe-Wernicke radio section

Good Housekeeping. 81:6 (December, 1925):224.

By the mid-1920s, radios commonly provided home entertainment in American middle-class homes. Globe-Wernicke produced a bookcase-sized radio unit that could be incorporated into their stackable system. Even as shown in the "Louis XV" design, the addition of the radio unit helped to establish the modern dwelling.
