After 13 terrific years at the University of Oregon, I joined the faculty of Brown University on September 1, 2008. I am currently in the Department of Psychology, with a courtesy appointment in the Department of Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences. In July 2010, the two departments will merge to become the Department of Cognitive, Linguistic, and Psychological Sciences.
