This blog will be an test area for sharing information, personal & professional. If all goes well & this proves useful, I'll consider adding some dedicated topical blogs, on this server or elsewhere.

In the meantime, I'm paying attention to various networked communication environments, including but not limited to:
- threaded & archived listservs. For example, here is the TechTalk List , used in the UO Libraries for exchanging questions & answers about various IT support issues
- blogs (you're looking at one).
- discussion boards, using tools such as vBulletin. Here's one about flyfishing
- WIKIs, such as Wikipedia
- Instant Messaging (aka chat)
