To load an Epidemiology file from a site on the internet, choose the "Net Load"
command from the File menu. A window will appear, asking you the name of the file
you want to open, and where on the disk this file is. Click on the file name to select
it, then click on the Open button.
To load a Epidemiology file from a local disk, choose the "Local Load"
command from the File menu. A window will appear, asking you the name of the file
you want to open, and where on the disk this file is. Click on the file name to select
it, then click on the Open button.
To save the file you are currently using, choose the ìSaveî command from the File
menu. If you have downloaded a Epidemiology file over the internet, you will most
likely not be able to save changes to that file. You will be able to use the "Save
As..." command, however, to create a new file on a local disk.
Caution: if you have loaded a file, made changes to it, and you want to save these
changes to your own file, but donít want to change the original file, use the ìSave
As...î command instead.
To save the file you are currently using under a different name, choose the ìSave
As...î command from the File menu. A window will appear asking you to choose a name
and location for the new file. Type in a new name and click on the OK button. The
old file will not be affected.
Choose the ìPrintî command from the File menu to print the Epidemiology screen in
its current state. In the demo version of Java Epidemiology 1.0, printing
is disabled.You may also have problems printing applets from certain browsers or
certain platforms. Applet printing is currently not supported on the Macintosh.
