CASL coordinators will make a valuable contribution to students' environmental awareness on campus and help further the University's comittment to sustainable practices. Housing for the Co-Directors?

Applicants for co-directors are asked to realize that, while CASL has officially obtained a house, when it will be ready for habitation is still to be determined. We are working hard to have the CASL house running as soon as possible, but this depends on how quickly the planned remodel and addition to the existing house proceed. Our CASL house may or may not be ready for co-director habitation during the coming school year. At this time, we are not asking for firm commitments to live in the house, but if you have questions just come talk to us.

When the CASL house becomes available, co-directors will live in the house in exchange for directing the CASL project. For the time being, a small rent will be charged.

Funding

CASL is a funded and recognized group of the Associated Students of the University of Oregon (ASUO). CASL has also received or been pledged generous funding from:

  • the Koehn Colloquium
  • UO Office of Finance and Administration
  • UO Space Committee
and administrative support from the School of Architecture and Allied Arts.
