CASL Course: Introduction to Sustainable
Living, Spring 2006
In spring 2006 we hope to continue with another CASL class, using our first class as a springboard to go in-depth on one topic. We're looking for students to be part of the planning team for this class, and we'll offer winter term credits for doing so! Interested? Contact Susan Mershon Update:CASL has had its hands tied with a number of other major projects and unfortuntately did not have enough volunteer effort to organize the class for this Spring Term (2006). Hopefully with the successful precendent set in 2004 and 2005, someone will be able to follow next academic year. If any departments are interested in sponsoring a GTF or instructor to organize or teach this class in the 2006/2007 school year, please contact CASL. To see what we did last year, please see our syllabus from the Spring 2005 course Arch 407 [rtf] | [pdf] CASL created this student-driven seminar. It met once a week and provided an overview of topics in sustainability. Each week, a different guest expert addressed a different topic in sustainable living. Check out these student documents from the class which cover the weekly topics! |
