The Fire approached the soul from all sides, entered and descended to
the core, then expanded, flared to engulf and burn and purge.
Some quotes from satisfied participants:
"It's the safest place I've ever been."
"I travelled to the desert for a cleansing of soul, an attempt to
banish the pursuing demons. In swirling dust and raging fire I found
blessed release from this physical form. For a time, I found myself a
part rather than apart. In the thunder of drums I resonated with the
crashing, roaring Man."
"Lots of fire. Not enough weapons. I hate lava."
