
Mission Statement
The University of Oregon Counseling and Testing Center
provides comprehensive mental health and testing services to UO
students. Some testing is offered on a fee per test basis, while
other testing is paid for by student fees. Counseling services are
provided through a student paid fee as part of the incidental and
student health center fee, so there is no additional cost to students.
Clinical services are available to currently enrolled University
of Oregon students. All information shared by clients, including
requests for services and client use of services, is maintained
as strictly confidential within the Center. All facilities, services,
workshops, presentations are accessible to students with disabilities.

The Mission of the University of Oregon
Counseling and Testing Center is to:
- facilitate each student's development, furthering his or
her academic pursuits by providing services within the community
mental health model: individual, couples, and group counseling;
outreach; psycho-educational classes and workshops; teaching
in academic programs; continuing research responsive to current
psychological concerns.
- develop and maintain a positive psychological climate on
campus by promoting personal growth, respecting and supporting
cultural pluralism within our diverse community.
- train future professionals in the fields of clinical and
counseling psychology and related fields.
- provide assessment of student placement and academic progress
by administration and interpretation of subject tests, entrance
exams, psychological profiles, career assessments, and national
testing programs. Act as a liaison with the various national
tesing programs(i.e., MCAT, CBEST, GRE, SAT, LSAT, PRAXIS) to
provide testing services to students and the community.

access to services for all participants.
