Leland O'DriscollGraduate Student Research Highlight: Leland is using seismic imaging to resolve the crustal and upper mantle structure beneath the Mendocino Triple Junction in Northern California. This region is a crossroads of four major tectonic provinces and three plate boundaries. A new seismic array has recently been installed to better image the crustal thickening and structural changes associated with the migration of the triple junction. Read More
