Overseas Study

The University of Oregon has several study abroad programs and opportunities for students seeking semester or year-long overseas study experiences. There are four programs possible in China:

  • Language and Minority Studes at the Central University for Nationalities in Beijing
  • Language and Area Studies at Peking University, also in Beijing
  • Language and Area Studies at Nanjing University in Nanjing
  • Language and Area Studies at East China Normal University in Shanghai

    • There are five programs avaliable in Japan:

  • Language, Cultural Studies, and Sciences at Hokkaido University in Sapporo
  • Language and Most Fields of Study at Japan Women's University in Tokyo
  • Language and Most Fields of Study at Meiji University in Tokyo
  • Language, Culture, and Business at Senshu University in Tokyo
  • Language and Most Fields of Study at Waseda University in Tokyo

    • Additionally, the University of Oregon offers programs in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan.

    Students in University of Oregon overseas study programs enroll in courses with subject codes that are unique to individual programs. Special course numbers are reserved for overseas study. Interested students should contact or visit in person the Office of International Programs in Oregon Hall.
