The Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) housed in the Environmental Studies Program at the University of Oregon supports local and regional efforts to promote and maintain a healthy environment through a variety of research, monitoring, and educational outreach projects.      

     The Institute for Culture and Ecology (IFCAE) is a nonprofit organization based in Portland, OR whose mission is to carry out research and education that promotes environmental sustainability and social justice. They are seeking to expand their Paricipatory Learning Program outreach efforts to Lane County, making them a great match for an ELP collaboration. They have approached ELP for assistance in developing their outreach and education efforts.
