Benjamin Saunders (Associate Professor)
Areas of Research
Ben Saunders specializes in the poetry and drama of the English Renaissance. His published work explores the intersection of spirituality and sexuality during the period, alongside larger questions of literary hermeneutics. His other teaching and research interests include poetry and poetics more generally, literary theory, the history of pornography, Anglo-American popular music, and comic-book Superheroes. He also occasionally moonlights as an actor and musician.
