Laboratory Location and Shipping Addresses

The MicroAnalytical Facility is one of several facilities managed by CAMCOR, which is administered by the Department of Chemistry under the auspices of the Material Science Institute, and is physically located in 87 Huestis Hall, which houses the Center for Advanced Materials Characterization in ORegon (CAMCOR).

CAMCOR is also Oregon's High Tech Extension Service which is chartered to provide priority support for commercial use of the facilities by companies. All proprietary and trade secret concerns are carefully regulated and controlled in each of the CAMCOR facilities. In addition, CAMCOR policies allow customers to retain complete intellectual property rights over their work in all CAMCOR facilities and non-disclosure agreements are easily obtained with the CAMCOR professional analysts that are directly involved. In all cases, commercial samples receive immediate attention and timely turn around is based on customer needs.

We are a multi-disciplinary organization commited to providing a wide range of services to all researchers and students at the University of Oregon and the Oregon University System in general. All researchers in the University of Oregon System, whether they are University of Oregon, Oregon State University or Portland State University, are charged the same hourly rate.
