Undergraduate Certificate in Folklore Studies |

| Undergraduate students may earn a certificate in Folklore while completing major and degree requirements in another department or school. The program encourages students to become more aware of the culture-based dimensions and applications of their major fields. The certificate program requires a minimum of 32 credits in Folklore or affiliated courses. Please click on the requirements link to the right to learn more. Students wishing to receive a certificate in folklore should submit a Folklore Certificate Request Form to Cathy O’Grady, Folklore Studies Secretary in 118 PLC. Two terms prior to graduation, they must obtain approval from a Folklore Program advisor. The course approval form is available from the link on the right.
