Dear
Incoming University of Oregon Student,
Congratulations
on your acceptance to the University of Oregon. Your acceptance
suggests that you share many of the same skills and abilities that have
served the thousands of graduates of the University of Oregon preceding
you.
As
current undergraduate students at the University of Oregon, we find
life at college challenging in many ways. Paying for an education is
one of these challenges. To assist with the financial aspect of
college, the Oregon Beta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity is
offering 10 Balanced Man Scholarships in amounts of up to $1000. These
scholarships are offered to incoming male students who excelled in
scholarship, leadership, athletics, and community service during their
high school careers. We reward men who exemplify these qualities. We
believe they are fundamental in building a balanced leader. To qualify,
you must be attending the University of Oregon in the fall of 2007 and
return the application
by August 3rd 2007, to:
Brian
DeHaan
Balanced Man Scholarship Chairman
Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity
4350 SW Crestwood Drive
Portland, OR 97225
Neither
applying for nor receiving one of the Balanced Man Scholarships in any
way obligates you to join Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.
Should
you have any questions or concerns regarding the Balanced Man
Scholarship, please call Brian DeHaan at (503) 807-9601.
Enjoy
your final days of high school and have an excellent summer. We hope to
hear from you soon and see you next fall at the University of Oregon.
Sincerely,
Brian
