Our Current Peer Advisors
Peer advisors are a very beneficial addition to Human Physiology Department that gives students another avenue to receive academic advice from experienced undergraduates. Our peer advisors are familiar with classes, professors, requirements, goals, and academic stresses from a perspective that gives inquiring students a more realistic and insightful view of the human physiology major and minor. The information available through the peer advisors strongly complements the guidance accessible through the department undergraduate adviser Rick Troxel and their presence within the human physiology department allows for a more proficient advising schedule with more hours open for students needing advising.
Tom
Tom is a Senior in the Human Physiology program and is hoping to incorporate his degree into something involving international or emergency medicine. He will be graduating in the spring of 2009 and plans to take a year or two off from school to gain experience in the work field and live in a new part of the world. Through his 4 years at the U of O he has been involved with club sports, been a teachers assistant for the anatomy lab, and worked closely with student organizations he is currently involved in.
Bailey
Bailey is currently completing her fifth year of undergraduate work as a Human Physiology and Psychology major and Biochemistry minor. Next year she is planning on attending medical school. In addition to questions about the major, I would be happy to answer any questions regarding the medical school application process.
Lan Vu
Lan is a senior majoring in Human Physiology and minoring in Business Administration. Her career goal is to become an osteopathic physician.
