The Humanities Center Directorship Endowment
The high quality of the programs offered by the Center depends upon strong leadership. Your gift of $1,000 or more can help us reach our goal of a fully endowed Directorship for the Center.
The Humanities Center receives only a small portion of its annual budget from the University and the state, and therefore relies heavily upon private gifts for many of its programs.
One portion of our operating budget which comes from private funds is the endowment that supports the Directorship. We have already raised approximately $1 million towards this endowment, but because of increasing costs, uncertain market conditions, and ever-declining state support for the rest of our programs, we need to raise approximately $500,000 more in order to meet our needs on an annual basis.
