Undergraduate Advising Checklist: NOTE: this checklist explains what needs to be done to complete the major. Please consult your degree audit about other requirements.

The Humanities Program offers several sets of courses:

• General Surveys of culture and literature in a chronological framework, specifically HUM 101, the ancient world; HUM 102 the Medieval and Renaissance Period, and HUM 103 the modern world. These courses are offered in the fall, winter and spring terms respectively
• Themes in the Humanities, HUM 300 is an upper division variation on this subject. The course is offered twice during the academic year.
• More specialized courses at various levels including for example
  • HUM 254, The City (offered twice per year).
  • HUM 399 (Food and Culture)
  • HUM 361, ancient science and culture.
• Constellations of courses of interest to students of the humanities
