Dear IFS Senators:

For Theresa Levy, Karen and myself, I'd also like to thank Peter for posting materials to the IFS web page as rapidly and accurately as you do!! We'd like to express our gratitude to Kate Hunter-Zaworski for eliciting and rapidly receiving feedback from the OSU faculty. Lots of information to be processed!!!

Conversations over the last couple of weeks lead us to offer to visit one of your January Faculty Senate meetings so your faculty can question past and future actions concerning implementation of the new high school graduation requirements. This visit is also an opportunity for your faculty to reinforce the message that they wish us to use during discussion of the new high school diploma. There is a very real expectation that this work will improve the proficiency of the students who enter our institutions.
