Project Gutenberg has produced its first etext in .lit format. I think this
is their first venture into a format other than pure text files (although
they have a few 8-bit text files and at least one -- wonderful! -- unicode
text file that supports CJK)

 Technically, it's not very good (they are using the MIcrosoft Word
plug-in),  but I'm sure they'll get the hang of it.
