Although this as sent broadly, I wanted to make sure that everyone in 
both MDLS and on the DCC was aware of the Ambrosia downtime scheduled 
for both tonight and over the weekend.

I believe that I've already spoken directly to those of you that are 
currently engaged in work on the Ambrosia server.

If you have any questions or concerns about the impact of this downtime 
on any of your current work, please let contact Travis or I.

I'll be around till the end of the day today, but am out of the office 
tomorrow.

The Ambrosia server, which houses our digital collections, will be
shutdown briefly tonight and for a much longer period beginning Friday
night.  We will be upgrading the server so that it has double its
current storage capacity.

Downtime tonight (Thursday 8/24): 6pm - 6:30pm
Downtime this weekend: begins 6pm Friday evening and ends before 8am
Monday morning.
