All,

As many of you  know, the University is undergoing it's full
accreditation process this year. We have completed the self study,
and the visitation team will be on campus April 16th and 17th. Steve
Hiller from the University of Washington will be reviewing the
section on Library and Information Services. On the Library side, he
would like to have the following meetings. Most meetings will be
either from 30-45 minutes each.

         Dean
         Admin
         CET
         Instruction librarians (a group of 4-5 people selected by
the coordinator)
         Subject Specialists (to focus on collections and outreach)
         Media Services
         Classified Staff
         Ranked Librarians (to focus on professional support, personnel
issues)
         Assessment Team

Sheila will be drafting a schedule. If you have suggestions for
preferred times, please let her know as soon as possible. Please be
as flexible as possible with your schedules.

Sheila will also have copies of our section of the self-study for
those of you who are interested. (Not a bad idea to take a look at
this, as the University received permission from the Commission to
alter the format and address key issues or themes, rather than
standards). There will be a copy of the full self study in the office
for anyone to look at.
