American vs. Japanese Baseball We went to see a baseball game on Tuesday. There was a large audience there. There are some differences between American baseball stadium and Japanese one. Before the game starts, they sing the national anthem. And the umpire is only two persons. In Japan, there are at least four umpires. In Japan, during the game, a cheering party plays musical instruments and supports the team. The audience also uses tools such as megaphones and cheers them, so the atmosphere of Japan is noisier than that of America. We found that they put ice cream in a container which is shaped like a small helmet. It is very pretty and nice for a souvenir.
#43 Ben Wyatt He was a starting pitcher in the game on August 19. He was a left-handed person. He pitched a curve, a straight ball and a change up. He had 8 strike-outs and his curve was very good. But his control was not so good in that he gave 6 bases on balls. And he lost 2 points. I think his pitching was good and want to watch him again.
#51 Mark Burke In the game on August 4, he hit a grand slam. Since then I am a fan of his. But in the game on August 19, he did not hit. As a new fan of his, I wanted him hit more and more. I think if he is active in Ems, Ems will be strong. He is "out of this world"!
