Val Lawson

Serves as Undergraduate Secretary handling undergraduate
records, inquiries, scholarships, and initial advising. Participates
in undergraduate and recruitment committees. Coordinates and communicates
with central admissions office in interviews and auditions for
prospective students and their parents and in staffing introductory
sessions for incoming students.
Val Lawson has worked at the University of Oregon
for more than five years prior to Music, first in the Department
of Economics and most recently in the UO Admissions office. Her
daughter is a UO history and theater major.
